He could feel a slight breeze, but only between his toes.

He then realized he was buried upside-down in the sand and this was the end. He struggled in the tight, yet almost fluid confines of his gritty grave. With each move he slipped further into the sand. He no long felt the breeze on his toes, but instead felt the warm ocean tide rising. The weight of the water was overwhelming. He quickly expired as wet sand filled his mouth and lungs.
